Ashish Ghosh lives in Delhi, has a Ph.D. in social sciences and retained his passion for performing arts. Educated in Delhi to become a teacher, he remained anchored to his roots in Bengal countryside in particular and folk culture of India in general, to create works of aesthetic experience with a difference. He works bilingually; in Bengali and Hindi. His stage performances have mesmerized audiences of all denominations everywhere. He sings and acts, directs plays, teaches and tell stories, and calls himself a children’s theatre activist.
